This coin uses a circular O for the letter Samek S when writing the name AlekSander instead of the three lined $ used in the Phoneician alphabet. This is an influence of the Assyrian Aramaic font ס which was used as Samek at the time in official documents and day to day use. The first numerical cipher that is known to be assigned to the English Alphabet was by Cornelius Agrippa in 1533, in his work De Occulta Philosopha. Agrippa gave value to the English letters without trying to transliterate them from Hebrew or Greek, so L is 20, rather than 30 , M is 30, rather than 40 and N is 40, rather than 50 . This cipher is sometimes erroneously labelled as "Jewish" or "Hebrew" by popular numerology calculators, such as Gematrix and Gematrinator. Sometimes, the names of the vowels are spelled out and their gematria is calculated using standard methods. It’s been a while, and I’ve been busy with VR game development, but I took a break recently to finish working out the gematria of Brashith 1-2, and rather than write a book about it I’ve put it online and made it freely available. It’s the culmination of several years of decipherment, and the calculations for all the verses have been set out on a webpage on my Shematria site. I hope that it will provide insight into this ancient system of Hebrew mathematics that was employed by the Patriarchs to clarify and categorize their writings. The word "HELLO" is equal to 25 in Full Reduction Gematria and these values can be reconfirmed by the gematria calculator. "Gematria is a method of assigning the numerical values to a term or a phrase". Indeed a search on the "Google" internet search engine reveals over 106,000 references to gematria on the World Wide Web, a great number of these sites deal with Christianity, witchcraft, and general (non-Jewish) mysticism. Numerous contemporary Jewish books have been published about gematria as well as assisting the reader to find his own gematria equivalencies. For instance, one such book, Sefer Gematrikon provides gematria equivalents for the numbers 1 to 1,000. Numerical equivalents are given to the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet in digital ascending order from Aleph, the first letter, equivalent to 1 until Yod, the 10th letter, equivalent to 10. From there on, the letters ascend by 10s, until Kopf, the 19th letter which equals 100.
