If you're stuck in the Cryo-Freeze and the enemies surround you, the game gives you four seconds to think of an escape while you heal up . One way to get some distance is by placing a wall right beside you as soon as you get out of the icic
Move around, use dashes or movement abilities if you have them, and maybe even crouch up and down to really move your head around. Jumping may work, but you will still get hit in your body, and jumping arcs are rather predictable, so someone with good aiming might actually hit you better because you're jumping. Be as mobile as you can while fighting her, as she'll only be able to do a third of her potential damage if she can't hit your h
Additionally, you can slightly track the position of an enemy suffering Orb of Discord behind walls thanks to the icon that is present above them. Using this, you can set up a charged Orb of Destruction volley on an enemy rounding a corner , or determine their general location after moving behind a wall. This information can also be relayed to your team in voice c
In the beginning, it might seem like the wall is the easiest ability to use in her entire kit, because the most obvious place to put it is where the enemies will be coming from . While this is good, it can easily backfire if you don't think of every scenario to decide the best location for your wa
Furthermore, your wall can also counter certain ultimate abilities as the one Soldier: 76 has . Whenever you hear the sound cue of him using the ultimate, you can wall your team off to waste his abili
As for the protection Suzu, no abilities can stop it once it's done. That means countering it isn't about your character or abilities, but about your strategy. The first option here is to get rid of her; a sniper headshot, a handful of charged-up Zenyatta orbs, or anything else that kills her fast, so she dies before using it in the first place. Or, you can use your basic attacks cleverly to force her into using her protection abilities, and then you or your teammates can proceed to use something actually threatening against her. That way, you know her ability will be at a cooldown, and she'll have no way to counter t
Knowing your enemy is the best way to defeat them, so here's everything you need to know about Kiriko's attacks and abilities, and what you can do in order to stop her in her tracks and prevent her from helping the rest of the opposing team in the proc
Still, there are some other options. Mei is perfect against the Kitsune Rush , for example. Her Ice Wall can prevent the fox from moving, thus decreasing the whole area around it. In fact, even Mei's Cryo-Freeze is big enough to block them from going forward, so you can stop it yourself if your Ice Wall is on cooldown. It won't fully prevent the ultimate, but decreasing its area is already a big difference. You can also use Blizzard to slow down or even freeze everyone - their speed boost won't matter if they can't even move. Even if they escape your Blizzard, you'll force them out of the Kitsune a
It'll take some time to get used to the projectile of the Blizzard, so don't be afraid to use it when trying out the character in Quick Play . Furthermore, you should always aim to get at least two to three enemies frozen using this ability, which will allow you to easily kill said enemi
Talking about positioning, another thing to keep in mind is that Cassidy doesn't have an easy escape . His dash is extremely short, and it can be easily overestimated if you're trying him out for the first ti
Zenyatta's Ultimate, Transcendence , is an extremely powerful defensive ability that can save your team in a crisis . Zenyatta has a relatively low Ultimate charge rate , meaning you won't be able to use it as much as other Ultimates throughout the course of a match. Instead, Transcendence is best saved for blocking enemy Ultimates that deal high, consistent damage over a short period of time , like Genji, Hanzo, Mei, Ashe, or Soldier:
If an enemy is about to escape with super low health, it's a good idea to wall in front of them to give you time to catch up . Although, you need to make sure the enemy can't bypass the wall like Genji, Hanzo, Kiriko, or Widowmak
Overwatch 2 Beginner Guide 2 divides all of its heroes into three types of roles: Damage, Tank, and Support . One look at Cassidy and his appearances in the game's cinematics, and you can tell that he doesn't belong to the Tank or Support role . Cassidy is one of the many Damage characters present in the g
As mentioned above, the major problem with Mei is her lack of mobility . The game makes her out to be a close-ranged character, but you need to plan out an escape if you're going to get too close to the enemies . Your Cryo-Freeze heals you, but it still doesn't give you a free escape if your team doesn't support
If you are getting harassed by flankers like Genji or Tracer, your Snap Kick passive can be very useful. The knockback element of Zenyatta's quick melee can launch targets a great distance , putting them in a prime position for Orbs of Destruction . Additionally, Snap Kick can be used to move enemies away from you , affording you time to get to your teammates for assistan
