This most recent update from Rockstar suggests that the remaster could absolutely be coming sooner than players expected, possibly even in the coming weeks. However, despite the exciting update, it's important to note that there is still no official confirmation of a **Red Dead Redemption 2 ** remaster being released, though players should definitely be on the lookout for another update from Rocks  
"We’ve tried to take the best elements and best content packs from Grand Theft Auto Online and use them for templates for what we are making here," stated Needleman. "We feel Grand Theft Auto Online really only found its feet creatively with Heists. That pack, along with After Hours, The Doomsday Heist, Gun Running and a few others represent the best of Grand Theft Auto Online , and provided the template for what we wanted to use here, (not in terms of content, obviously, but how they combined narrative, gameplay, modes and other content into a cohesive thematic whole) alongside all of the elements we liked from the old Red Dead Redemption multiplay  
A Red Dead Redemption 2 remaster is a gold mine that Rockstar has been sitting on for a long time now, and it's easily one of the most desired remasters in modern gaming at the moment. Fans would be absolutely ecstatic to get to p lay the beloved RPG again in 60 FPS and re-experience the masterpiece in all its glory. There's no question it would be a massive hit, so the RDR2 remaster is ultimately a question of when, notMTV's main draw back in the day was music. Today, not so much. Law enforcement has no way of pursuing you unless a crime was witnessed by someone. The scenery and sound are all deemed high quality and a natural fit to the gameplay. There's even a zombie expansion, which of course isn't natural, but still flows with this game. Red Dead Redemption has been given near perfect scores and sold over 13 million copies worldwide. It also won several Game of the Year awards from numerous publications.
