I recently introduced' The 4 Pillars of Fitness' in a blog post. I describe the each pillar as a part of fitness. While fitness will all the same be powerful when anyone of the pillars is not in place, it takes all 4 to really be definitely fit. Those pillars are Mindset, Diet & Nutrition, Exercise and alpilean (read this article) Sleep. Studies show that each area is important for full functioning of our body. You want each area and I need each area for optimum fitness.  
The mindset of ours would be the pilot in guiding the behavior as well as actions which lead to better eating, working out and enough sleep. Good nutrition is important to feed and fuel the body. For example, you require cholesterol like a structural material for your cell walls and Vitamin B-12 as building material for the myelin on your nerve cells. Exercise is crucial to build strength, sound structure, heart health, brain health and more. Sleep is vital for the brain as well.  
Everyone has different needs and different lifestyles because of our more, family, and work. Creating a The 4 Pillars of Fitness work for you is important so you are able to enjoy a quality and life that is vital that your whole life. Each pillar I described has an impact on the others. The entire concept of the' The Four Pillars of Fitness' is about methods thinking relating to health.
